Dr. Jaeseop Lee, DMD
My passion to utilize my skills to help people and give back to the community was what led me into dentistry. It is my goal to better people’s oral health and ultimately to improve their overall health through great care we give at Smile Life Dental. I like to create a friendly environment for my patients and build good relationships with them by being attentive to their concerns and needs, being honest, and answering any questions they may have. I also put great importance in being up-to-date on the latest scientifically proven dentistry in order to provide the best care possible.

I was born in Seoul, South Korea but moved to the states after finishing middle school. I have been living in the Boston area since 2003 and became a huge fan of Boston sports teams – Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics.
I love spending time with my family, watching sports and movies, exercising, and snowboarding.
Laura - Office Administrator
Laura earned her bachelor's degree at Mount Ida College and has been with Smile Life Dental since August 2007. She is the first to greet you when you call our office or walk through the door and is always ready to assist you in scheduling appointments, coordinating insurance, or answering any questions you may have.
Laura is an avid pet lover and enjoys spending time with her family, especially her young daughter who keeps her very busy.
Emily - Hygienist, RDH
Emily earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of New England in Maine and has been living in Somerville since graduating from hygiene school in 2011. She loves living close to the city but enjoys visiting her family in Maine, especially her niece, Vivian. Getting to know her patients and making them feel comfortable is Emily’s favorite part of her profession.
When she isn’t flossing, she likes to try new Boston restaurants, hear live music, and attend Bruins or Red Sox games.
Melissa
Dental Assistant
When you come to Smile Life Dental you are bound to see our dental assistant, Melissa. Some of you might even remember her as Dr. Caselle's assistant over a decade ago. Melissa has always loved helping others, and that's why she became a dental assistant. Not only is she experienced in the dental field, but she also has experience teaching at two different dental schools. She enjoyed passing on her knowledge to the next generation of students.
In her spare time, you will find Melissa outdoors. She enjoys spending time at the beach and relaxing by the pool in summer. In the winter, she likes to cuddle up with her cat, Jon, and a good book.
Dawn
Front Desk
Dawn completed the Advanced Esthetics program at the Catherine Hinds Institute in 2012; and has been with Smile Life Dental since 2021.
In her spare time, she enjoys creating digital art, sewing, and 3D printing. Dawn also loves visiting aquariums; she's been to aquariums in 14 different states and 5 different countries!

I have worked as a hygienist for over 20 years. My husband James and I have 2 amazing kids who are in elementary school. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, sewing and spending time with family and friends.
