What is the Six Month Smiles System?
Six Month Smiles is based on the idea of traditional orthodontics but is used to address cosmetic dental concerns such as crooked or gapped teeth. Six Month Smiles does not address any significant underlying occlusal (bite) conditions or structural problems with your bite. Instead, it gives adults a solution to their cosmetic concerns that does not take years to complete.
Unlike traditional braces, Six Month Smiles braces are almost invisible. We attach the clear brackets to your teeth and use tooth-colored wires to assist in the movement of your teeth. Dr. Caselle received specialized training to help people just like you have a smile that gives them confidence.
Just like the name implies, treatment takes approximately six months to complete, though your particular condition may take more or less time. Dr. Caselle can give you an estimate when he evaluates your smile.
Even though your teeth move in a shorter period of time, it does not mean that you will experience more soreness or pain. In fact, most of our patients report feeling completely comfortable during treatment. We are not just moving your teeth faster. We employ the basic concepts of traditional orthodontics, but since we are addressing cosmetic concerns only, treatment will be shorter and less expensive.
